This time around I got to visit the design department exhibition mostly. And again, I really enjoyed it. I thought it was really good, massive in size and the number of pieces; there were ample of exceptional skills, tons of underdeveloped conceptions though many prime in nature, and thoughtful. All in all, very gnarly. The only thing I wish the exhibition had more was the design processes. The final pieces are all practical, neat, and cool, but it hardly tells any story of how the author brought about his or her ideas from its conception to the final product. The methodology and designers' thought processes were largely absent.
Here's a link to a higher resolution slideshow. Ciao!
