My all-time favorite short film. La Maison en Petits Cubes, "The House of Small Cubes", is a 2008 Japanese animated short film created by Kunio Katō with music by Kondo Kenji. It is also the recipient of the Academy Award for the 2009 Best Animated Short Film.

I saw this at last year's Toronto Japanese Short Film Fest and loved it too! Beautifully crafted artwork and storytelling.
